One of the most memorable games that I worked at this semester was when the basketball court became named after former CSU coach and athletic director, Herbert Greene. They had a huge ceremony during halftime and pasted his name onto the court. He had a long and successful career at Columbus State University. It was amazing to hear people talk about how incredible he was not just as a coach, but as a person. This game realy stuck out to me because I do not think I have have seen more “cougar pride” than I did that night. Herbert Greene resonated with many and his legacy will never be forgotton.
