February 26: Today was a short but eventful day. For most of the morning I worked on rebuilding the webpage and finished several templates. In the afternoon though I had the chance to tour the NICU at our hospital. Since a group of students from the Communication Department are making a documentary as a project for one of their classes I was able to assist Jessica in the tour.

The students arrived with their equipment and we quickly went up to the NICU floor. Since we are under the Public Relations and Marketing Department, it is our job to escort any media when in the hospital.

The chance to see all of premature babies really set in stone as to why supporting Children’s Miracle Network is so important and impacts so many lives. Personally I have supported this philanthropy for the past four years of my college career through my sorority on campus, so it really tugged on my heartstrings getting to see it.
